Lent At St. Joan of Arc Church
Tomorrow is ASH WEDNESDAY, the beginning of Lent! The three pillars of Lent are prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Prayer strengthens our relationship with God. Fasting puts the focus on what is truly needed for our Christian discipleship. Almsgiving helps us practice charity to become more aware of the needs of others.
At St. Joan of Arc we are offering a variety of Lenten devotions, Faith Formation and Spirituality programs. We’ve developed these to enhance our faith, build up our faith community and raise our awareness of the passion, death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
We encourage you to join us as community on our Lenten Journey!
